I'll only root against them if the U.S. is playing them. I usually root for the underdog with Brazil and older 49er teams being the only exceptions. That's how I became a U of U fan instead of a BYU fan.

I was actually a young misguided BYU fan until I repented and went to Utah State.

I have a harder time rooting for either the U or the Y every year now. That is the worst part about RSL playing at RES, I really hate that place. My son wore a Big Blue tattoo during the WCQ just to desecrate the place.
