Nice. Makes me think that MLS might just make it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

A Japanese company sponsoring a Mexican team. That's very interesting.

Toyota sponsors the Libertadores Cup (the South American club championship) & Korean conglomerate LG sponsors Morelia.

Folks, don't buy the spin. This is a cheetos announcement, and all it says is that they have twelve sponsors.

I'd like to know $$$$. Doesn't look like much based on the press release.

MLS will make it, with or without cheetos.

Anyone see Guadalajara play against Boca the other day? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Stuff like that will scare the big names into coming to play for Chivas Jr. I think their keeper was about to cry.

Actually, I think that was Tecos' keeper. Libertadores/Toyota has a strange little rule that says that you can bring in 2 players from other clubs in your league.

I think that Oswaldo Sanchez is in Germany with Mexico.

But I saw the, um, highlights on FSC.

Finally, DC United no longer holds the record for the Western Hemisphere team that embarrassed itself the most in international competition.

MLS is a pay cut for anyone in Mexico who can tie his shoes on the first try.

Besides, why would they need to bring in good players?

Everyone knows that MLS is The Joke League. Mexican players are much superior to US players. Jeonju never happened. Columbus never happened.
