But regardless what ppl do, it will be embarrising if it happens tonight.
Very sad.

So lets not worry about it, because, like I said, Watson will celebrating his brace on the 35 minute. :D

Why? I don't understand. Are you happy that our team is about to set a mark for futility? Sometimes you have to let your team know you aren't happy with the way they are playing. I will be happier if a goal comes, but if it doesn't, I think we are obligated to mark the event.

Because I don't come to the games to insult my team, I come to support them. I think they know that they haven't scored a goal; they don't need us to tell them. As a supporters club I think it's a given that we're disappointed, I don't feel the need for such a public display to discourage the team even more.

You will have to convince me how that is insulting to the team. Have we not been insulted with their uninspired play? Are we not at least entitled to spirited play in exchange for our support?

Hiba, it is one minute. We aren't turning our backs on the team, we are marking an occasion.

The fact that we show up to games IS a sign of support. I don't really see how this is an insult. Being able to laugh at yourself is healthy.

I choose to mark the good occasions, I guess I’m an optimist. I go to practices; I see how disappointed in themselves they are. I personally feel it's an insult to have a group of people who you count on to support you turn on you (even for just one minute) just because you don't do as well as they would like.

I have my opinion, you have yours. No one is going to change each other’s minds. You sit, I’ll stand.

There are some people that think this is a great thing and some that don't. I don't think that either group should try and force the other group to do something that they don't want to do. I personally will not be participating either. I'm not going to hate anyone that does do it though. We all have differing opinions about this. I just hope that both sides can respect people that are on the other side. Everyone has a different idea of what it means to support the team. No one is right or wrong on this. Just different.

We aren't turning on them. Are you telling me that you have never expressed displeasure with way any team you have ever supported is playing? Being booed by the home crowd is the price teams play for playing like a bunch of freakin' zombies.

Of course I'm disappointed. But like I said, I personally don't feel this is the way to go about showing that disappointment.

This was the least offensive alternative to what ppl were suggesting...
I do not think that it is insulting... I think it lets them know that we dfollow them so closely...

I would rather sit down for one minute now then be 1 of 50 in the stadium next month cos the team thought that we did not mind that they have not scored or won a match.

What does it hurt if we mark the occasion with a show of solidarity as a supporters group.

If we don't do it as a group then that sends a far more confusing and insulting message...
Don't you think?
