Great article on Watson.
Would it be bad if I started a petition on Theloyalists.com to promote Watson starting?
:D

I've got to wonder... Do any of these three have some sort of financial interest in having the stadium built at the fairpark? Someone with decent writing skills should write a counter point opinion piece to this. Please!!

"Real Salt Lake equipment manager Braden Chandler received some pretty prominent airtime by Fox Sports West over the weekend.
Midway through the second half, the FSW commentators began talking about Real 16-year-old midfielder Nikolas Besagno — who was sitting on the bench. However, when they showed Salt Lake's bench on TV, they zoomed in on Chandler.
It's a nice going-away present for Chandler, who is moving back to his native Bradenton, Fla. in a couple of weeks."

I remember seeing this and thinking - man, Nic looks alot different on the bench! :D

We all had a pretty good laugh about it at Iggy's. Some of us have been to enough practices to know exactly who it was. It was very entertaining.

What really is stupid about this is that Allen "I want to have Landon's baby" Hopkins, the homer who was doing the color analysis for the game and was the one speaking about Nik, actually interviewed Besagno during the draft back in Feburary. I met Braden in Bradenton during spring training and I immediately knew who the camera guy was focusing on. And so that there is no doubt, Hopkins said "there he is" when they panned to him. Oh and Nik is about twice the size of Braden. The only 3 things they have in common: They both were on the bench (I don't know, did Besagno even travel with RSL); they both have dark hair; they both are white.
🙄
