I live in West Jordan because it is fairly close to where my wife's family was living when we built our house. Of course, they have all since moved farther away from us, but we like our little house so we'll stay for a little while.

Why do you live in Herriman or Riverton?
We were living in a small home in West Jordan from 97 through 04, then we decided that we were growing out of the house. We looked around, and we found a great house in a really beautiful area. Our neck of Riverton should really be considered Herriman (13400 S 5100 W), and it is really pretty out there.

By the way, I'll be moving to one of those places because it'll be less expensive than Sandy or Draper, and are still nice places to live in the valley.

I voted as living in Layton, but actually live in Syracuse (close enough). I was raised in Layton, and have lived in the area most of my life (except for 5 LONG years in Roosevelt). I live in Syracuse because it is close to work...<5min commute :D . I actually like it here.

I'm going to vote West Jordan, hopefully that won't skew any stats too much. It was a great place to live, especially when they built Jordan Landing.

You don't want to live close to Jordan Landing, at least not in Dixie Valley. I fled that dump for Midvale. I like the community here and I live 3 minutes away from the school at which I teach. That is 3 minutes by foot.

I totally agree. Jordan Landing looks great on the surface, but it is way to busy. We used to go all the time, but hardly ever go anymore even though it is about 5 minutes from our house. We'll go when we have to, but go elsewhere when there is a choice. It's nice to have around, but not great to go to regularly.
