Now the Queen's standard has that lion in red on a yellow background The Scottish standard flag is blue with a white "X" however like most things in royalty there are other standards that are not so well known. And the similar standing scottish Lion is among them. England has three "similar" lions (on all fours) on there crest... hence the nickname for England "Three Lions"

I'm thinking about buying a pirate flag and then sewing a crown on the skull's head. I know some people will think that is a great idea, and others will frown upon it.

Go for it Jake! Love it! See my old posts about Fusible Webbing for the easiest way to put on the crown. It's great stuff, and how I make all the designs. The RSL design on the flag my kid is holding was made using Fusible webbing. And it's much easier to use if you're a novice. (Not to say you're a novice, but I am)

Sounds great Jake (glad to see you around here).
Are you going to do the sowing or is Mrs. Snarf going to do it? 😉

I can tell him how to use the stuff, but Mrs. Snarf won't even sew for me, let alone someone who's not sharing her bed at night. P.S. - Prime, Sowing means putting seeds into the ground. Sewing means attaching pieces of material together with thread.
