Or should I scrap both of those and make several plain old striped flags and hand them out to whoever wants them? Do we even need more flags?
I personally like the stripes.

Now speaking of giving away flags... I want to keep mine but I cannot wave it down on the pitch so what I want to do is find someone that is willing to take it, wave it during the match and give it back at the end of each match....

Any takers?

I would gladly wave it and return it at the end of each match.

Just a friendly reminder...

The flags look really nice when they're all going full force, and they're all really well done. But let's remember why most people are at the game, and that is to watch a soccer game. During a key couple of plays taking place at the south end of the field in the first half, there were a couple of huge flags blocking the view of much of E32, E31, E30, E29, etc. I was up on about row 15 of E32 and couldn't see what was going on, but it must have been decent (I think a Mathis free kick), because there were a lot of "ooohs" and "ahhhs" from people who DID see it. Not a huge deal for me -- I'm sure I can catch stuff on TV replays and internet re-broadcasts, etc. But people (especially in E31) were getting REALLY pissed. They started an organized yell (1...2...3..."PUT THE FLAGS DOWN") that apparently went unheard. A couple of them went to find ushers. We're talking about 50-60 people who were yelling for the flags to be put down.

Once again, they're cool...but let's not alienate some of our fellow fans, pretty please.

flag trouble

Were they complaining about all of our flags, or just the glorious monsters that HiddenFox made?

Well I'm the one with the monster flags but it couldn't have been my flags durring the first half because I was so pissed at our poor play that I had no reason to wave 'em. They stayed on the ground the whole first half.

Now I did waive mine a time or two durring the second half but I was careful to only go for a few seconds and then bring it back down so I wouldn't block anyone's view.

Now if they did get an organized chant going, good, it's about damn time!

I'm always careful with my flags but people had better get used to 'em, especially come June 22nd when I have two more demons ready to be unleashed for a total of four.
