Any of you who want to see the new stadium for its first game, better get a ticket for Chicago ASAP because the Fire have asked MLS not to show the Revs/Fire match on DK this weekend. Nice...

So does this mean there is not a sellout yet, and they want a sellout, or maybe some big entertainer for halftime that they don't want people outside of the stadium to see, or what?

I've heard that the stadium isn't 100% done and the real grand opening is later so they don't want ppl via TV (in the Chicago area I guess) to see the stadium.

This all stupid, since the game is being broadcasted by FSN NE for Revs fans. But DK will not be carrying it. Stupid I say.

Damn that's pretty. I'm saving my money this year so I can afford the tickets I want at the new place (if and when, yadda yadda).

I doubt the first game will be a sellout. They are not selling individual tickets at all. You can only see the opener as part of a ticket pack.

Yes, that last picture was very impressive to see. It was cool how MSG Network showed how they unraveled the whole thing. Thats huge!
