Anyone who has followed MLS since its founding is astounded at how far we've come and how secure we now are. Others may not be able to see that, but more likely just haven't done their homework. Or they will oppose any support for a soccer team.
Although Metros and United are still figuring out their SSS situation, the Crapids are well on their way to also have their own SSS by 2007.
Revs are owned by the Krafts, so thats not a problem.

That leaves only the KC Wizards and SJ Quakes as the lone "no-solution" for profitability any time soon.

Just keep in mind that this is an idiot trying to sound like a reasonable person. He thinks that if he sounds reasonable, then no one will notice that he is an idiot. What he doesn't realize, and can't because he is an idiot, is that the minute he opens his mouth to speak, or starts to type, he instantly gives himself away to all non-idiots. Don't try to make sense of it. It is only an idiot, repeating what all the idiots are saying and thinking that he is being original.

I guess he hasn't noticed our home attendance figures. The Jazz are established now, but they had a hard time giving tickets away their first few years in SLC.

If we all wait until this "single entity" (MLS), has proven itself why would tax dollars need to be used to subsidize the team??? If it has proven itself, then I would think they would be self-sufficient and wouldn't need outside support. 😕

Tax dollars wouldn't be subsidizing the team itself, they'd be subsidizing the building of a stadium.

It's not like Dave Checketts is going to take the money and go buy Ronaldo with it or something...

Now that is a good idea. I can't imagine a better use of our tax money. 😉
