No one ever answered my question of whether they would be able to sell beer there.

Probably not, but that hasn't seemed to be too much of an impediment at RES either. :D __________________

Keep in mind here, we ARE getting a stadium. We don't have to worry about if, we have to worry about where. When given a choice between good (fairpark, Murray, Sandy) and better (downtown), I'm going to pull for better.

Let me add, we could be like other MLS teams like MetroStars and San Jose who have the problem "not when but if".
Better to have the problem of "where" the SSS will be then if your going to get it at all. Don't you love Utah? :D

I'm beginning to not care where the stadium ends up.
If it will shut the be-combovered, ugly suit-wearing ****nuggets on Capitol Hill up, they can put it at the state prison for all I care.

Actually, I think that they already have beer at the State Fairground, so I don't know why they couldn't at the Soccer Ground. On the rest of the issue, I agree that downtown MIGHT be best, depending where it was, but this is not a bad compromise. If it makes it possible...if it makes it happen, then it is good. The Fairground is easy to find and close enough to downtown that it shouldn't hurt, too much. __________________
