My only wish, an ode to the other fans

Why go to a sporting event, just to sit down and not say a word?

Why look at disreagrd to those drums and cowbells around you, when they bought their right to drum and clank?

Why not get up and cheer, and scream and shout and enjoy yourself outdoors?

We need you! The team needs you! so get up and stop being a flake.

(what rhymes with clank, i'm to tired to think).

Amen, pick up the chants from two feet to your right/left. And don't leave early.

THANK YOU! My thoughts EXACTLY! The ONLY sound that you could hear last night was coming from the Loyalists section. (clapping for you all...pats on back...etc etc.) Okay, so the game was quite a downer, but come on people! My hubby and I, along with 2 other season ticket holders in Sec. 35) decided to stand and yell our support for the last 30 minutes. We were literally the ONLY ones! I can't count the # of times people yelled at us to sit down and be quiet. Ummm...."fans".....were not at a Stinger game.(sorry baseball ppl) This is soccer....stand up and cheer. The players have said over and over that we are the "12th" man....and for the most part....we didn't do our job last night, either. Now this isn't meant for most of you guys...unfortunately, the wonderful Loyalists that read this are the loudest, greatest bunch in the stadium, but I had to vent. I was just as disappointed in the "fans" around me as I was about the outcome. I can't wait for the day when my kids are a few years older so we can sit ..uh hum...STAND with the loyalist section and scream our little hearts out.

That was my first game and I thought the other fans did great. Of course when you are losing the fans and going to be a little down. But I hate it when the fans go early. So I am guessing the fans have been better in the other games?

The crowd has been better in other games. Unfortunately, we have too many fans that don't cheer until the score board tells them to.

So that you guys don't shoot yourselves for RSL's "bad" fans, I'll point out (once again) that as a remote RSL fan, I can only watch RSL games via Direct Kick. That being said I watch almost all the MLS games per week. RSL this week, much like very other week, is by far the loudest and most vocal crowd in MLS. The only competition might be LA Galaxy (but since the city has 4 times the pop of Utah and they have their own stadium, they don't count).
Just wanted you guys to know, even though you don't think your doing a good job, you are.
That is all.

Did you see the trumpet over the head of thiago when he was corner kicking in the first half. Gotta love the "bad" fans!
