Going to be even harder to keep our voices this weekend for the double-header. Hopefully most of us will have something left for the RSL game after cheering for the US team for 90+ minutes. After many years going to lots of events, I've pretty much figured out exactly how loud I can sing/yell without going hoarse the next few days, but still sometimes exceed that level. 🙄

My new mantra, that I will say for the next week everytime I see the words chant or sing:

Start a song/chant and continue with it until action on the pitch necessitates a change. Usually they should go on for quite some time after it has become REALLY obnoxious.

You can force sound out of your vocal chords w/ your throat muscles or the force of air passing over them. If you're supporting your voice w/ good breath support, your throat won't be so abused. At least... in theory. That's a sort of simplistic explanation, but I hope it helps. Scilaci had excilantro ideas. 🙂

That is a great plan. I'm all for chanting until i'm annoying.

My ticket isn't with the loyalists on Saturday, so all those who are in the same situation, be sure to make your neighbors know what you're doing and try to get them to participate.

That poses a great question. If we don't have seats this Saturday can we sit with the loyalists anyway? The more the better right?

Just a thought....I doubt that we can get the people around us to chant all game long...fuegote...but we can try

I hope that there is room for you guys over in the Loyalists. It will seem a little empty over there without all of the people that don't have tickets there but have joined us anyway. I'm really afraid that with all of the seats sold that there probably won't be much room though. Maybe you could see if you could trade your tickets for tickets in our section. Call the ticket office. The worst they could tell you was no.

I'm pretty sure you could squeeze us in if we're standing. Besides, we're bringing more cowbells.

All I know is I have a reserved seat on row three and nobody is forcing me out of it for this game, but feel free squeeze the next guy out of HIS seat! 😉

I have a reserved seat on row 1, but I have my wife and kids on row 18. We will have to work something out.
