382 Days!

I was on www.fifaworldcup.com the other day, watching the highlights of the past tournaments, and realized we are just over a year away from World Cup 2006! When we all watch the WCQ in Rice-Eccles, we will have 370 days until the World Cup kicks off. Maybe we should all take signs to the match that say 370 on them!

We'd have to tip off the media people beforehand.

Maybe USA and England can be in the same World Cup group, as i think England need 4 points from 4 games (all in Britain) to qualify for Germany 2006.

If so, I hope we play better than the last friendly. Of course both teams will be very much changed.

I don't think I'd like that pairing at all. My first favorite team is the US. After that I root for England. I lived there a couple of times and it's my second favorite country.

Not being patronising or anything (and i only saw highlights) but i didn't thing the US played to badly in the friendly game last month, although i would suspect that the England team would be very different next summer, with maybe only 1 or 2 players that started in either game in the States starting in Germany (should England get there). TBH i think America has quite a good team, they played a good game against Portugal in the last world cup and were unlucky against Germany, unlike England who played a bad game against Brazil to get knocked out of that world cup.
