He has regular meetings with the police down there as they are all preparing for the invasion of the crazy soccer fans. I love it.

LOL I LOVE THIS!

Well, as long as that's the case -- first come, first serve, baby!

It has been my experience at RES that you can hardly see the pitch from the first 10 rows. Greg (the guys I talked to at 866-9-soccer) says the best seats are from rows 10 to 20. I'm not going to be fighting for seats with a poor view of the pitch.

Of course, that's assuming you're sitting down. The section is also a standing section (as most of us will be singing and chanting, and of course drumming for the whole time).

I'd have to agree with you. I was there this past Saturday for the open house and wandered over to our section to count the seats. There are 23 rows in each section and it did seem that it would be hard to see the South end of the field from the lower few rows.

Rows 10 thru 20 should have great views. Of course the closer down to the field you are the easier it will be to insult the opposing team's players when they come over to take a corner kick.

Anyway, I'm going to be up high I believe to have enough room for my flag and so that I'm not obstructing anyone's view. My flag is 8 feet by 9 feet. Prepare to witness the full power of our colors.

Can anyone believe we are even having this conversation? This time last year none of us had any idea a MLS team was on it's way!

It's kind of amazing. Isn't it? I never really believed we would have an MLS team. But now I am a believer!
