Kragthorpe doesn't really count as a columnist.

Unfortunately, most of the DMNews columnists are very much biased against the beautiful game.

Just heard Pace Mannion on 1280 say nothing but good stuff about RSL.

He was at the game on Saturday, and says he had a great time. He said it was exciting (we knew that), and singled out the atmosphere in the stadium as a big draw. He even said he would be back, and was working on Alema Harrington to get him to a game too.

Of note, the continued strong attendance numbers are having an effect on perceptions of RSL.

Good stuff.

Not Real Good

hahahahaha. That's a good one. Hahahahaha.

Although it would be even funnier if columnists would use "Real" in a grammatically correct phrase, instead of trying to morph the word into an adverb.

Also, the editors need to have some sort of computer check on all RSL stories for the acronym "MSL". I swear, that's about 10 times already for the Trib.

I swear, if I weren't still in such a good mood, I'd single-handedly give the Trib an email campaign to remember.

Totally!!! If I had a nickel for each time I saw that, I'd have like a dollar or something!!

I don't understand why this was said because I think Mr. Edward has done a great job reporting on RSL SC and from everything that I have heard about him is that he likes, if not loves, the beautiful game.

Now the other reporter's (I don't remember his name) article didn't have much added info than what James already mentioned in his articles, but that was not a great article.

Anyway, I'm not seeing any bias against the beautiful game from these two reporters.

Just IMHO.

GOReAL!!!!!! 🙂 🙄 🙂

I was referring to their columnists like Rock and Robinson, etc. James has done a great job as have other reporters that have been at the games. It is their columnists that worry me.

We all love James, because he is as rabid about footy as we are; however, notice how many reporters the Trib sends to games. We get more print love from the Trib than from DesNews. Not a complaint, just an observation. Trib must have a bigger budget.

The Trib has a bigger circulation, so they should have a bigger budget.
