Quidditch Anyone? I was bored at work today and was looking at the schedule for upcoming events at the main library and noticed one of interest.
The library is doing a Harry Potter Night before the next book comes out and they're going to be having a big party all night with events until midnight when the book is released. One of the events was listed as "Real Salt Lake will give Quidditch demonstrations." So for all you Harry Potter savvy people out there (if there are any) we've got DJ as the Keeper, but who's going to be the Seeker, the Beaters and the Chasers? 😉 -Hiba

I'd say it's got to be Tiger as Seeker, with Rusty playing both Beater and Chaser. Pretty much the same lineup as last Saturday.
I don't know that we can field a full team of six.

Since I can't think of Harry Potter without thinking kids, I would imagine that Jamie Watson would be a good seeker.
I agree though one Beater would definitely be Rusty (he even looks like a Weasley twin). BTW, the next Potter movie, Goblet of Fire will begin with Potter and friends at the Quidditch World Cup. Since its an obvious allusion to the real World Cup, it should be fun for soccer fans. Yes, I am a Potter fan and have read all of the books (I have kids, I have to!)

the seeker is Kreis...he's the one always at the point, ready to score the goal, he's quick and fast...seems like the perfect fit for the seeker.
the Beaters are Rusty and Mathis: both are inforcers, both like to get physical The chasers are: Eddie pope (the defensive one), Tiger (he's got the moves to score some points) and Williams taking the point. of course, DJ is the keeper.

I can't remember what Beaters and Chasers do. But the seeker is just responsible for nabbing the Golden Snitch, not scoring the goals, right? I think Dipsy Selowane would be a good seeker. He's quick and tiny and has great moves, but doesn't seem able to hold on to the ball and score goals.

Beaters keep the Bludger away from the Chasers who are trying to score goals.

The beaters are pretty much the defenders. Their job is to protect everyone. The chasers are the goal scorers.

This was pretty funny. I’ve only been working at my current job for about a month and my boss has me figured out already. She came in the other day and told me she was just at a meeting for all the library workers. She handed me a piece of paper that had the minutes on it from the meeting and said that I would probably like to see it. I looked at it and she had underlined the part that said “Quidditch match with out new professional soccer team Real Salt Lake” and she wrote “Hiba!” next to it LOL
I thought it was hilarious. And she told me I won’t have to work that night so I can go if I want. How nice 😉 __________________
