No they pretty much had the same starters in the second half as they were playing in the first half. They did start subbing after we tied the game up. I like when Dipsy comes into the game he brings 110% everytime and shows a lot of heart. Jamie Watson played out of his mind 2-assists and setting up are second PK, and i think i'm on the bandwagon for Jay Nolly to start in goal for RSL.

This is all fascinating. I wish I could have been there.
But why start Jay Nolly? DJ has never given any signs of giving less than 100%, has he? Remember when he got injured? And remember the two goals last week? He had already made one save and the goals slipped in on a second attempt. Jay Nolly also did a great job when he played, but what's wrong with DJ?

Yes that is true, i guess i jumped down on him to early but i think he got caught sleeping on are first goal. I've always just liked Nolly ever since watching him play some college ball. I have nothing against DJ Countess he is a great goalie, i was just thinking about favorites.

Does anyone know if Channel 5 picked up Jamie’s shave cream pie in the face? Anyone have a link to their website?

I would love to see a clip.

The Loyalists did themselves proud last night. We kept on chanting and singing even after going down 2-nil and missing a penalty, whereas the Chilean supporters in the north end zone, who were very vocal for most of the match, didn't make a peep after RSL tied the score.

Too bad the weather and mid-week date kept a lot of people away. This was a great comeback and those of us who were there had an enjoyable time.

Good sportmanship shown after the game. The visitors played a bit of a rough game, but once the final whistle blew, there were a few jerseys exchanged and I saw a lot of visiting players smiling and waving to the home town fans.

The first half was so bad that you really couldn't do anything but laugh. My mom doesn't know much about soccer, but she said to me, "this reminds me of some of going to some of your games back in the day!"

DJ was soooooo mad. You could hear him screaming all the way in the stands.

Second half, regardless of who Catolica had in there, was much better. The pace picked up dramatically, we stopped taking seven or eight touches on the ball (which is what really led to the first goal scored on us), and the kids played like they had something to prove.

It would have been much better if I actually had feeling in my hands to clap by the end of the game, though. Is it March in disguise?

I've got to give kudos to the loyalists too. Unfortunately my seats are where people tend to get upset at you if you cheer too loudly. ???? 😠 . I cheer and yell and I have gotten some snide remarks. Um, hello. Support your team nimrods. I may have to come over and sit with the loyalists and people who actually care about the team. 😉

Fans are not very educated when it comes to cheering at the soccer matches. It is not a tennis match or a round of golf. It is soccer and chanting and yelling are part of the match.

Come on over we would love to have more people...

That was a great game. Kudos to everyone that stuck with it and kept cheering even when the team was down. I love the never say die attitude and maybe it rubbed off on the team a little bit. This was a great game to be a Loyalist and I couldn't be prouder.

The team also got one monkey off of their back by winning on grass (and that was pretty terrible grass). Now if they could just score a *#%&^&#*%^#^% goal in front of us instead of the other end!
