I too had to wait to see the game and then after I did, cool off.
I think we should be embarrassed for all the same reasons everyone has mentioned. We also don't suck that much for the same reasons.

I do think some things need to happen:
1)Passion
2)Get Cila in there
3)No more O'Brien (unless he is the 3rd goalie) or he changes his first name to Ronnie or John
4)Either Williams plays up front, or he can set his Jamican style butt on the bench
5)Passion
6)Midfield, midfield, midfield. Can we grab new players in the summer?
7)GET KREIS THE BALL!
8)SHOOT THE BALL (near goal)
9)Passion

I think both Kreis and Mathis are doing a great job. But the midfield has to solidify and control the ball, to get them a real chance to work their magic.

I've said all along that the midfield is where we are losing it. Sometimes the center of the field looks like a big pool of (whatever color the other team is wearing). No one of the RSL persuasion to be seen. How can you build up attacks and control the ball, if there is absolutely no midfield? Where are the players who should be there? Why aren't they there?

Personally, I still think there's a fitness problem. If I was one of those players trying to break into the starting lineup, I think I'd go run for at least an hour a day, besides the regular workouts. Can you imagine what would happen if they got to the end of a game and still had energy left to attack?

Anyway, I'm not worried (embarrassed, yes. worried, no). We have a great coach and great players. They'll pull it together.

Won't it be sweat when Donovan and company go down to the Royalty? I can't wait to see that game!
