Real schedule change
RSL announced Wednesday that the Colorado Rapids game on Friday, Aug. 26, has been changed to Wednesday, Sept. 21. That game will be in Denver, not Salt Lake City, which was reported incorrectly in Thursday's newspaper.

Good article by Scott Pierce. You know things are going well when a sportswriter has a son whose favorite TV station is FSC.

Sounds familiar, actually.

Is Scott Pierce a sports writer, or is he the guy that reports on TV shows, nielsen ratings, etc.? I haven't seen a copy of the DesNews in so long that I've forgotten...

Don't have a clue. If someone writes something that has to do with sports, they're a sportwriter to me. Media commentator might be better.

Maybe not a sports journalist, but I'm not sure if that's a compliment anyway.

That bites! Perhaps Rocky should try it on it's own merits as opposed to packaging it with a bunch of other items making it "too expensive" according to the city council. I'm normally not a big fan of Rocky, but if he can help push successfully for the new stadium, I may be forced to forgive him for some of his past mistakes.

Just that, talk.
Nothing will get said UNTIL this summer, at the earliest.
