Too bad we don't have a 3rd jersey

I was just thinking that especially this Saturday it's too bad we don't have a third jersey.

We won't be able to wear our home kit against Chivas (similar blue shorts and red tops) and even with our away whites there is going to be alot of white out there with Chivas' red and white striped home shirts.

This would have been a good week to wear, if we had one, a purple 3rd jersey. Something similar to our mother club Real Madrid's Kelme kits from 97/98.

Let's talk to Pastorino or DC and see if they will get on this right away. They have always said if we need something to just let them know.

How about claret shorts, and gold jersey, both with cobalt trim?

We wore the red kit against Dallas and they have about the same color scheme as Chivas. The only difference is the color of their shorts. Do you think that is a big enough difference that they don't wear the "home" jersey?

Oh yeah!

I forgot they changed the away kit to all white! nevermind!

It was supposed to be blue shorts for both kits... but they changed it!

Why was that change made? The blue shorts look so much better. Was that an Americanization effort that started the all white road kit trend?

From what I heard it was a Coach/GM difference of opinion! one wanted white and one wanted blue...

don't know which one won the debate! Besides the obvious one that wanted white!

Ellinger wanted the all white. Pastorino wanted the blue shorts.
