Loyalist Article

Can someone put together an article for MatchNight about the Loyalists, how we came to be, what we're about, what we plan for the future, etc.

The articles will be posted on the main page of matchnight.com so that means about 50,000 people should read it the day it's posted. It's a good way to get our name out there and to let people know what we're doing. Glenn? David? Jules?

You can take a look at some of the articles on matchnight.com to get a feel for writing style or whatever. if no one wants to do it then I can, I just figured it might be best from someone who was there from the beginning.

No offense, but last time MatchNight "discussed" the Loyalists, they referred to excitement as being "geeked out".
No thanks.

I'd be happy to do it if you think I'm well-qualified and whatnot. I know there are others well-qualified, so I'll leave the decision to our loyal president, as to who he would like to have represent us. (Choose me! Choose me!) 😉

Any other details about what sort of article it should be? Length? What sort of information do they want? Etc?

Well, realsaltlake.org is now the MatchNight affiliate for Salt Lake so I think now we'll have a little say in what is said about the Loyalists. Besides, I don't remeber a MatchNight article about the Loyalists previously, do you have a link?

'They' is me, and I was just thinking a history(however short, hehe) of the Loyalists and some of the activities that we've done written like a news story.

I could handle that. Confirm with me if you want me to write it up.

If you want it from day 1 give Glenn or myself a chance to look at it before it goes off for publishing. We may be able to give a little insight. But, I think it would be great to have montg write it...

I second the nomination (confirmation)...

I third it. I have all the Loyalist webpages archived, so if there is anything I can do to help, let me know (plus you know all the Loyalist meeting notes are online, right?)

Glenn has already requested a pre-publication copy, and I will willingly agree. He also gave me some information that I could include in the article. Thanks!
