An idea for a chant when...

Eddie Pope does something brilliant...

"Habemus papam!"

Some of the other teams/supporters clubs I follow have a section of their forum dedicated to chants. Just an idea.

I believe it means "we have a Pope" or something close to that. I believe it is what is said after a new Pope has been elected.

Did anyone else see the kids wearing paper Pope-style hats (I can't remember their official name) with Eddie's picture on them at the game last weekend?

I was standing outside the stadium talking on my phone and literally fell silent as a result of the coolness. :D

Yeah... "We Have A Pope"!

It would be great to chant when United or MetroStars are at RSL.

I'm not sure that I'd be able to pronounce it well enough to chant it. It sure would make a nice sign, though!

Hey, I am a linguistics professor! If I can't get a group of soccer fans to pronounce two Latin words, what am I worth?

I was thinking of this banner:

"POPE IS INFALLIBLE!" ... is it infallable? I used to be able to spell really well.
