My university beat the mexico womens national team....

i know its not really a big deal, but the university of portland womens team won tonight, 3-1 against mexico. i hope this is good omen for tomorrow, at least from my standpoint. the pilots just WHOOOOOPED mexico. let me tell you the score should have been 5-1 at least. in the last 20 minutes alone, the ref called off 2 goals, one off of a corner which was called OFF SIDES?!?! WTF!?!? the second was called of for......off fvcking sides again. our player was CLEARLY on sides. the mexican players were the dirtiest players i have ever seen. sliding in carelessly with no intent of getting the ball. pushing, shoving, pulling, punching. it was sick to watch them try and win. our team THOROUGHLY dominated them. controlling posession through out the game making crisp passes on a sloppy wet night. i was way unimpressed with the mexicans. i guess they were not that good last year so its not too big of a deal, but our national team only beat them 1-0. to me, this is amazing. papers have already been calling us a shoe in for the national championship. next year is going to be awesome.

oh ya and the mexican fans are ANNNOOOOYYYIINNNGGG!!! chanting and screaming ole even though their team is losing 2-1 and just had 2 goals called off, that third one though, that one SHUT THEM UP. it was beautiful, just us pilot students going crazy.

I saw that on BS. How can the ref get away with calling offsides on a corner kick????

Wow. Was it a straight offside call? That's one of the simpler offside calls no make (speaking from lots of AR experience).

man i have no idea, it was absolutely REDICULOUS. im glad we won though, the way we dominated the game would have pissed me off so much if we had lost.
