REDLANDS - Former University of Redlands men's soccer player Adam Acosta signed a three-year reserve contract to play with Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer, the school announced Friday.
Acosta, a midfielder, trained with the team Friday and Saturday and will play in a reserve game against the Galaxy today.

Acosta enjoyed many accolades during his four-year career at Redlands. He became the first Bulldogs soccer player to earn All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference first-team honors each year of his career. He was the SCIAC Player of the Year and also an All-American in 2003.

Acosta finished atop Redlands' all-time career scoring list with 50 goals and 125 points

BTW Acosta is actually on a 3 day reserve contract so that doesn't make him a sure thing. But he is from Bountiful, Utah! 🙂
