Will we beat LA? Be honest.

I'm making this an anonymous poll because people who don't claim that RSL will win every game and end up as league champions for the next 20 years are sometimes called RSL-haters on this forum. Sheesh.

So let's see how people really feel. Will RSL beat LA this weekend?

If LA play like they did Saturday we will slaughter them, Donovan or no Donovan.

If they actually show up for the match I think we will eeK out a 2-1 Victory!

I agree. They didn't look good at all on Sat. And as good as Donovan might be, he is also brand new. I think his talent and newness cancel each other out. So, unless they can improve a great deal between now and then, I think we will win.

Robin Fraser, Ante Razov & Simon Elliott have played more games in a Galaxy uniform than next Saturday's Galaxy starting lineup. Or at least it's pretty close.

When the Space Cadets learn to play actual soccer as a team, they will be very good. But I don't see that happening by Saturday.

I never predict scores, and I won't start now, but I do believe we will win this one. Wild cards--Clint Mathis for RSL and Guillermo Ramirez for LA. One of them will determine who wins this game, up or down.

Hmmm... Call me an RSL 'realist' πŸ™„ but I thought our back right field was not especially strong against the Metros. Granted, it seemed like that was the only side they ever advanced on, but if the Galaxy have healthy and decent striker on that side I expect Countess to make A LOT of saves.... I think we can win.

If Columbus can grind them under their heel like they did last saturday, this saturday we have a very good chance. Donovan may be a great player, but who does he have to dish it to? Galaxy with Ruiz and Donovan would have been unstoppable, but without Ruiz, eh...

Actually with Pando in the mix, will Donovan even play attacking mid still? Won't they have Landon and Jovan up on top against us (that is if Landon is over his little cold)?

RSL will win based on having more time to gell as a team, the fatness of Hartman, and Marshall/Albright not likely their backline partners.

Of course we'll win. I refuse to even consider any other result! In my world, RSL wins every game, by default. Other teams are only there to showcase the fantastic skills and brilliance of our team. πŸ˜‰

There will be a few shots on our goal, just so Countess can show off his stuff, but most of the time the ball will be on the other end of the field, heading for the other goal. And I expect it will arrive...again, and again, and again. :D

That's what I expect. If it doesn't happen, I will confidently expect it to happen the next week. :p
