Miserable weather in NY Hey loyalists,
Whether you listen to the game on the radio or watch it on TV, let me just tell you that the weather conditions are the absolute shiiit. The wind is gusting as much as 45 mph, and it's pissing rain. It's an effing monsoon here in the Meadowlands — not in the press box of course.

Yeah, I saw the pregame. It looks absolutely miserable.
As most of our players have considerable experience, I don't expect the weather will affect us any more than the Metrostars. Though it may present some problems, considering our lack of time together as a team. p.s. IT'S NOT ONLY APRIL, IT'S GAMETIME BABY!!! ![]() GO RSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.p.s. 3-1 RSL

If I didn't want the season to get started so bad I would have said that would be a good game to cancel due to the weather.
You know it's bad when you see Kreis head a ball into the wind and then the wind blows it right back to him. "Kreis heads the ball to...............well,....to himself."

My favorite play was when Gaven tried to head the ball to himself over Akwari(?), then tried to get past him to retrieve the ball only to realize that the ball had actually travelled about 10 feet backwards instead of forward as he had intended.

I thought the play by Magee at the end when he tried going thru Williams was funny. Andy just stood there and Magee bounced off of him onto his rump. :D
