MLS Direct Kick Free Preview

According to mlsnet.com, MLS Direct Kick will be doing 2 free preview periods. One on April 2 and another on July 2-4. Does anybody know how the free preview works? Do they just show up on the Direct Kick channels if you have DirecTV, the Dish, or In-Demand? If this free preview is the case, we won't have to wait for the tape delay on KSL. Here's the link:

http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/mls_news.jsp?ymd=20050328&content_id=24895&vkey=pr_mls&fext=.jsp

It says:

Major League Soccer has collaborated with all three providers to offer two separate FREE PREVIEW periods for the MLS Direct Kick package, beginning with the opening weekend on April 2 and also from July 2-4. All MLS Direct Kick package telecasts are subject to change.

Does anyone have any further insight on this?

Is this available for Comcast cable customers at all? Anyone?

As far as I know, it is only available for Comcast Digital Cable customers, because In Demand is available on Comcast Digital Cable. I don't believe it is available on regular cable, but I'm not positive.

DirecTV

Channel: 621 MSG
Time: 5:00 p.m.
MetroStars Game night @ 4:30

This weeks games are on regional channels rather than DirectKick channels.

Heres more info:

Notice that this page lists times, channels for various systems (Direct TV, DISH etc).
Also, it looks like the RSL/Metros game will be Tape Delayed on Direct Kick too (darn) but that may mean they are using the cooler KSL feed than the MSG feed. Excellent.

They did this last year too. I have Dish and the DirectKick channels that are normally unavailable are available to non-subscribers during the free preview. It's pretty much the same thing as they do for the Stars free preview weekends.

Exactly. I always watch the free previews haha - you just select that channel just as if you had bought the Direct Kick package and it works.. for a few days. I'm thinking about buying the package though.
