I'll make a cardboard cutout of myself for you all to bring to Iggy's on Saturday, how's that? 😉

Anyway, Deuce may or may not have seen me at practice last Monday when I was not busy in my tourist-attraction duties at Loch Ness, haunting people at Graceland in a large white jumpsuit, or leaving extraordinarily large footprints in the mountains.

And I won't mention a thread from a really long time ago in which I posted a picture of myself with Coach, either.

:D

The reason I say this is because Ellinger spent the whole practicing hovering over Countess. During the practice he bantered with DJ and didn’t really associate with anyone else. After practice, everyone had exited the field except for Ellinger and DJ and they continued on in this way for quite a while. I got an insight into Coach E’s relationship with Countess and (perhaps) his motive for banking on DJ. They obviously have a special bond.

Or he could be working with building the lad's confidence...

Come’on now, that’s the more pessimistic view…

Besides, let’s hope our starting keeper doesn’t need a injection of confidence.

What's pessimistic about it? Ellinger is a masterful coach who knows DJ well. He knows how to get the best out of his players. That's all I was implying.

I realise that I implied the keeper's confidence was low, but that is not what I was getting at.
