I really hope that the movie does well enough to get the series back. It is one of the greatest TV shows of all time.

When I started following MLS I lived in the Seattle area, where I grew up. I remembered seeing Chris Henderson, a local boy, play for the Nats against Russia in the Kingdome in 1994, so I looked to see what team he was on. He was a Rapid. I also found out about that time that I worked with Marcus Hahnemann's father, who played goalkeeper for the Rapids then. So It was natural to follow the Rapids.

It will be tough to get the TV show back. I'd love to see it, but getting 9 actors free at the same time...

The movie was great... I didn't get to see any Serenity trailer but the story on the web site sounds exactly like a tv series a few years back that ran only a few episodes long... Does that ring a bell to anybody else?

Firefly... here's the link.

Yep, Firefly... isn't the exact same plot with the same names of groups? Just a curious thing that's all.

Yes, Serenity is a continuation of Firefly. I can't wait. I was so sad when that show went off the air. One of the best shows in the last 10 years.

Hmmm... I liked the show as well. Of course, I only saw maybe three episodes but I'm a sci-fi/galactic-civil-war fan anyhow. When you say it is a continuation... do you mean that it picks up where the series left off?

Yes, it is supposed to pick up where the show left off.

It is a great series and if you didn't see all of it, you should either rent it or buy the DVDs and watch the whole thing. It is great.

It covers some of the same ground, and then goes beyond. Mainly the River - Simon story will be recovered.
