At this point, aren't most draft picks PDLers?
I mean besides Besagno/Adu Bradenton types.

And guys, RSL cut Rhyne, so he probably isn't the best example.

And finally, I have 2 PDL teams, Ajax Orlando and Central Florida Kraze. Who, BTW, are the defending national champs. Thank you. 🙂

No, PDLers were drafted only in the supplemental draft. Also, Rhyne was a good example since he was the #1 pick (regardless of what happened afterwards)…

Good example? He was cut even though he was picked #1, thats a travesty!
Its bad in the PDL's case since their player wasn't good enough or its bad in RSL's case because they missed out on a great talent.
I love the PDL, its the best soccer in town for me. But it doesn't reflect well on the PDL or Steve for that matter that he was cut.
Now O'Rourke or Barrett who played for the Fire Reserves are great examples. High drafts in the "real" draft and are still there.
