I've always been a pretty big fan of soccer and watched it whenever I could, but I have never been able to see enough of one team consistently to really become a fan. I do have some favorites though.

1 - RSL. Of course.

2 - USMNT. Of course again.

3 - The Holland NT - My grandparents were from there and my grandfather is the one that got me interested in soccer, so they have always had a soft spot in my heart. Go Orange.

4 - The England NT - I guess probably because I have always considered them our greatest ally and usually cheer for them in just about everything.

5 - Glasgow Rangers - Don't know why. I have just always liked them since I was a teenager.

6 - Blackburn Rovers - Again, not sure why. Maybe I have a thing for nicknames that start with "R" or something (Rangers, Rovers, Real).

1. The US Men's National team. There's nothing better than a World cup...

2. Real Salt Lake, I have never seen them lose...

3. Manchester United since they are the first sporting team I was ever made aware of when I was living in England as a small lad.

4. The English National team.

5. A.C. Milan I followed them on soccer saturday's when I was stationed in England. Their defense in the early 90's was unstoppable.

6. Real Madrid Michael Owen, Beckham. I know it's band wagon but that is a sweet roster and I needed someone to root for in La Liga.

6. Any European team that has a U.S. Men's National player on it.

You do??? I guess I didn't get the memo. To me that guy is about as likeable as El Pescadito himself Carlos Ruiz.

On a side note, the Guatemalans need help with their nicknames. "El Pescadito" (The Fish)? "El Pando" (The Bowlegged)? Who comes up with these nicknames? Hopefully not their hometown fans.

you're a brave, brave poster.

I'll be wearing Claret & Cobalt when the Galaxy visits. But I am saving my Galaxy gear for MLS Cups and CONCACAF Club Championships. Maybe preseason doubleheaders?

The fact that the LA Salsa, Orange County Zodiac and Utah Blitzz are no longer competing does not mean that they don't RULE!

1. Real Salt Lake - My home-town team. I can't wait.

2. AS Roma - Lived in Rome and immediately loved the giallorossi. They were so much fun to watch with Totti, Batistuta, Candela, Samuel, etc... and later they won lo scudetto while I was in Rome. Since then I have followed them passionately (thank you goltv) and I'm Romanista to the end.

3. USA - My country.

4. Italy - lived there, love the culture, the language, the people, everything.

5. Ireland - It's in my blood.

6. Napoli - Lived there too but never quite fell in love with it like Rome.

7. Sampdoria - Not sure why.

8. Argentina - I have lots of Argentine friends.

The teams I hate are Colorado, LA Galaxy, Chivas USA, Juventus,
but above and beyond all...
I HATE LAZIO!!!!
