Wasn't this planned last pre-season as well and then cancelled or relocated to Houston or something?

UNLV plays their soccer at Peter Johann Memorial Field, which has room for 2500 spectators. They hosted two WUSA matches, as well as a match between the UNLV at Mexican National teams (women, I believe). I think it would be much more likely that RSL and Colorado would play here.
Sam Boyd Stadium does have a soccer complex, but if I recall from walking past it on the way to BYU's beating of Oregon, it is only like 4 fields with no stands.

The inaugural season it was planned but RSL and Rapids used an external promoter that pulled out at the last minute. Both clubs are self promoting this time. The worst thing that can happen is that you spend the weekend in Vegas, or do like I did and switch your plans to the Grand Canyon instead.

We were going to go to Las Vegas to visit my parents and some friends in November, but had to replace a transmission instead. :censored: So since our trip got scrubbed in November, we thought about going in the Spring...looks like we now know when we will be going 🙂 .
