Costa Rica - Panama (R) RSL Alumni, (Lack of) Brenes

[Jose Luis Luviano]

Match report in Spanish

Maybe we could merge this with the other Brenes thread & an "UNCAF Cup (R)" note in the title?

It does not look like Brenes was used in Costa Rica's 1-0 win over Panama in the UNCAF (Central American Nations Cup)

But RSL "alumni" Erick Scott played.

I saw a few minutes of this match on Galavision. Not only could the USMNT beat either of these teams; the Northern Nevada Wonders could beat either of these teams. But Costa Rica was missing their Mexico & Europe-based players, I am pretty sure.

Scott almost scored on a bad backpass.

The Galavision announcers said that Roy "Myrie" is Roy Myers, LA Galaxy alumni.
