Weakest link Who in your opinion was the weakest link in RSL this year? Maybe someone with moderator authority could put this up as a poll.

I'm hoping they can trade Andy Williams somehow for better midfielder. Andy is both brilliant and bewildering. I really like him, have visited with him personally and found him a heck of a guy! But, it was noted by an EPL fan buddy who attended the last home game, "That number 7 is kinda lazy." I'd pointed him out as the man who appears to define the success on any given night. He's on and the team is on, he's off and the team is off. I have to agree. Often, Andy seems kinda lazy.

thats a pretty hard question ... there are a few people who have been on and off this season. Garlick has made some great saves but at the same time has let some in that shouldn't have happened. Williams as bal said is very much on and off. Tiba, who seems to have improved but i still get a bad feeling when he's on the pitch.

Personally, I'd like this team to pretty much stay intact. I think that now that we've gelled, we can do some real damage next season.

although we certainly don't need the mass overhauling thatcame after last year, i don't think one or two changes would hurt us too much, always room for improvement, just as long as the majority of those that have gelled together stay. For example wecould do with another striker. Had it not been for jeff scoring so much this season we wouldn't have even got this close to the play offs. kreis is disappearing from view when on the pitch more often than not. defensive wise i think we are fine. i like that we have a pretty solid backline even though they are young.

As far as a weakness that is holding the team back, instead of naming a specific player, I will note that we are giving up early goals in far too many matches. All too often we are down 1-0 within the first quarter hour then are playing catch up for the rest of the match.

From the team perspective, I'd have to agree with Garlick being moved, he seems to always look for a scape goat when in fact he made the bad decision. I also agree with moving Williams, though this year he's improved on the team chemistry side, I've always felt he was one of the more lazy players on the pitch.
From an org perspective, I'd have to nominate Ellinger be moved. I appreciate his development mentality, but I don't want two development teams. And I'm not exactly sure who to pin this on in the FO, but they need to go as well. Is it me or does it seem like the FO is taking the rather high support numbers (considering the market size) for granted? I don't expect lavish gifts and that other crap, but Pasterino is a salesmen, which means he's not genuine (no offense to those sales persons that are actually genuine 🙂 ). Anyway, I agree, not a lot of changes on the team are needed, but the FO needs to be gutted!
