Wow Kevin Ara was someone we took in the expansion draft from DC, and was supposed to be good! The DC fans were all pissed that we "stole" him from them, well maybe they'll get him back.

It's encouraging to me, anyway, that RSL isn't afraid to cut guys that they got in the draft. Only the fittest survive, I guess.

Although it's a little strange since isn't he a DM? i thought we were a bit weak at that position...

Must show how bad Ara was doing. I agree, he had a bad preseason with RSL.
Wonder who the final cut will be? GK I bet.

Man, was he dragging down the average salary of Harvard grads!

It looks like the Kamler/Halilovic/Brenes Tag Team must be working out at D-Mid.

Only that the are rumors that RSL signed Jordan Cila, a D-mid from Rapids.
If this is true, then we know why they cut Ara.

Would his play during the preseason have anything to do with the SMACK and stitches he obtained in the first game against DC? Or was it another game?

I also read on bigsoccer about Cila coming to RSL SC, but nothing official.

Cila would be a good pick up for RSL. Anybody learning behind Pable is going to bring a little something. Also, he does possess the ability to score from the midfield spot. He was always a nice boost coming off the bench.

I was just assuming that he was in. Oops! So much for reading the coaches mind.
