re: Xango...It's like a type of Noni juice stuff, which is also a big company down in the UC. I wouldn't shell out a dime for it personally, but several of my neighbors are high-mucky-mucks in the company and they seem to be rolling in the cash, as far as I can tell. The company is definitely more than one year old, because they've been working there since I moved here three years ago.

p.s. I have a relative who swears it cured like every kind of disease in her family... I don't buy into that kind of stuff personally, though...

p.p.s. I hate MLMs

We all cheer for the Federal Trade Commission.

Is there going to be a tailgate party?

If my red parking permit doesn't work, it's going to be hard for me to stick around afterwords & help clean up.

Hmmm, good point about the red parking permit. On 7/18 I got an email from Kris K in the FO that said:
Quote:
ALL PARKING FOR THIS GAME WILL BE PERMITTED! The red VIP parking passes that have been issued for the 2006 Real Salt Lake will not be valid. Season Seat owners with a minimum of 4 VIP seats will be issued a new parking pass exclusive to August 12th. Anyone else who wishes to have access to the University parking around Rice-Eccles stadium (including the lot on Guardsman Way) will need to purchase a pass specific to August 12th for $10.00 + handling fee. *Via this e-mail and other avenues, Season Seat holders will be given first priority on available parking for August 12th.

I just called the FO and I'm out of luck for a complimentary replacement parking pass because I have 4 seats on the east side, not the west side. I guess people who sit on the west side are the only ones who should officially have red parking passes. I had no idea! I've been parking in the stadium lot with my red pass all this time.

Anyone know some good places to TRAX from? I was thinking about somewhere around 700 E and 400 S...maybe Rubio's??? :-) I'll be eating there before the game. Is TRAX free near campus?

it's not free but i've never had my ticket checked ... its like $3 for a round trip i think, not sure cus i have the Ed pass which is given out free to all registered students each year, lasts for1 year and is good on any UTA form of transport.

Will anyone be bringing drums, finding out tonight if i can attend the game, or if i'm busy.

Be careful! If a TRAX Police officer asks you for your ticket, and you don't have one it's a $65 fine. Ouch!

I have to imagine that all the shopping centers/fast food places along 4th South will be having cars towed away during the game. Then, of course, splitting the tow fee with the tow company.

You may want to try one of the lots on 13th South along the Sandy line.

Or you could try parking by the library. I think that the meters there aren't enforced after 6 PM? Same thing with downtown, right? They don't enforce meters after 6 PM?

The Tour of Utah bicycle race ends by the Gateway on Saturday afternoon.

That will be sad. When RSL moves to Rochester, Larry won't be hosting the Tour Of Utah any more because he won't need to put on events to draw away fans from his former employee's team.

The only people who will be there are family and friends of the riders and some Lab Techs.

"You only cheer for free stuff"

Hey, sorry for the Spam; but what's up with a Tailgate?

Any news on that?
