So whats the early verdict, Soto good enough to stay for 2007?

PS FSN called him Gustavo Cabrera last night. Knuckleheads.

They went so far as to say, "that's Cabrera wearing Soto's number." I was sure glad it wasn't Cabrera.

I like him already -- he can actually use the outsides of his feet, plus he sent in a couple of beautiful weighted through-balls last night.

Yeah, in my post on the RSL - Galaxy thread; I was probably too hard on him.

Guys like Klein can work the wings, and Talley or Ballouchy can "point guard" the ball into a place where we can set up a chance.

Then Soto can set something up; like he did last night.

If he adapts to the MLS "track meet" style, that's even better.

Great article. I'm not sure I get the hair thing though. RSL has the same sort of issue: Talley, Ballouchy, and Cunningham. Lots of hair seems to be the thing.

He, Soto, is playing for a contract for next year. He has basically a two month trial or three if we go deep in the playoffs.
