When my mother was pregnant with me they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later they discovered that I had reabsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

So this begs the question.... Why the **** didn't RSL snatch him up?

Because if we actually hire a competent coach and win games, we might accidentally increase ticket sales. And then Checketts would not be able to say "I had to move the team to Branson because I could not make money in Utah."

Who says they didn't try? But with Arena being from the New York area, which position do you think he was going to take? RSL had no chance of landing Arena once the NY job came into the picture.

Wow...we are bitter.

I think this is great for the league. Not only will NY become competitive, but they will be more attractive to watch as well. We will have the following teams playing attrative soccer: NY (in time), DC, Houston, Galaxy (in time), Chicago (usually), NE (usually), and Chivas. Not bad...not bad.

Arena was “fairly certain” he didn’t want to come back to MLS after his US tenure, but Red Bulls advances, which started about 30 days ago (which would be during the US’ World Cup run) were “very intriguing.” The team and the coach came to terms about 2 weeks ago.

Arena didn’t think a team the likes that Red Bull is planning “could be built” within MLS, but the Austrian drink makers have been able to convince him of their "vision."
