Thanks Aerick...

Do you have any ideas on how we can get positive media attention on the fans...
The fans seem to be the only people that are not being represented in the media...
There is plenty about Checketts and Miller and all the politicians and land deals and posturing but people seem to be forgetting about us.

any ideas will be welcome.

Just sent this to Corroon:

Mayor Corroon,

Won't you reconsider your stance on helping Real Salt Lake find a permanent home here in SL County? I appreciate your concern and position on being a good steward over public money, and even applaud your efforts to that end, but it seems to me that this is a deal too good to pass up for only $30 million plus debt service. Despite the risk, we need you to step up as a leader and not miss this golden, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Great leaders will take calculated risks to acheive something great, I believe you can be such a leader!

Losing this team, and the financial benefits is a no-win proposition for the future.

And have sent other positive emails to others on that list.

Radio Shows and Opinion pieces in the paper are very powerful tools!

I suggest you all start emailing the UTAH county politicians. I know as well as everybody else that this wouldn't be the best solution for Uncle Dave. But it would sure be better for us (even you Davis County residents) than Real St. Louis or Real Rochester. Same goes for Ogden, downtown, staying at RES, etc.

Take a week to feel angry, then direct your anger somewhere productive. I wish we had an email address for Uncle Dave. Then we could REALLY make our voices heard. Of course, we could always send letters to Uncle Dave c/o the front office, right? That might at least help us direct our anger...

Well it was crap feed back but... still feedback...

my point is that we as fans can make a difference!

Maybe if the RCB and Loyalists made a stand publicly, a show of Unity... get some positive media attention...
I don't have any answers but I think we need to do something positive... not just give up and go watch pointy ball.

Checketts knows we care... I think he will do what is right by us...
Maybe he won't but we can do what we can until nothing else can be done.
and i think that nothing can be done when they are in St. Louis or Rochester but until then.... something can be done!
