Why should he hang around MLS if he has offers from Europe?...

I think that we have not done well by Freddy Adu. We put truly unrealistic expectations on his shoulders. Then we make it so that he can't play for Ghana's Nats where he probably should be playing.

If he goes to EPL it will only be because they can get him cheap by their standards. I can't see him ever starting in the top half of the EPL. He couldn't start for Wigan or West Ham, much less Chelski, Liverspew or ManUre. Maybe Harry Redknapp could try and work him in somewhere. He has had a hard enough time getting to start for DC this season.

Yup, all for a friendly against Canada in January. He took a dive within 5 minutes of coming on, too.

Well, if its just for a friendly then I don't think he has disqualified himself from playing for Ghana. In fact, he is still "considering" it, although it is my view he is just playing his cards to get into the Nats sooner...
