Real Salt Lake vs. Kansas City Wizards

If I’m not mistaken, this match should be coming to an end in the next 10-15 minutes.

Fresh off the email from Chris at RSL:

We were up 2-0 in the first half with goals from Benhcke and Kreis.
Awaiting the final results.

2-0 at the half, it would take a meltdown of Roma proportions (or Jazz proportions) to lose... keep us posted!

Are you guys as startled as I that Matt Benhcke scored?
Next thing you'll tell me is that Damarcus Beasley is playing with Ronaldiniho in a charity game... 😉

From the pictures I've seen of him, that would surprise me. Guess looks aren't everything.

So after the 5-1 loss to DC, we were all in the "Preseason is meaningless" camp. I'm ready to jump on to the "Preseason is a very accurate indicator of future success" bandwagon. Anyone else?

Well I can't play an instrument so i will not jump on a band wagon... but I will say that i am excited about the season....

I still believe that pre-season is NOT an indicator of future success but I will play along with the other bit... just for sh**s and giggles!!!! 😉

No. Preseason results are still meaningless, even if it's good meaningless.

What isn't meaningless is the good showing of some of our young players, like Luke Kreamalmeyer. With USMNT callups a likely thing for 2-3 players every World Cup Qualifier, depth is a valuable commodity.
