what is it with refs and soccer officials giving us the shaft lately?
I have never heard of a coach being suspended for his comments. Talk about a chilling effect on criticism of the league. Fine him all you want, up to $250,000 if you have to (like the NBA did to Cuban), but don't suspend him. Let the ref show him the red and kick him out of the game. Ben Jones is a pansy, and a horrible ref to boot. Ellinger was up off his bench yelling at this guy, and he didn't have the balls to give Ellinger the red. If we're into post-application of rules, why don't we give Real Salt Lake a clearly fair goal, take 2 points away from Houston and give 1 to RSL? I'd like a one-game suspension with a side-order of 1 point, please. I HATE PROFESSIONAL SOCCER. Last edited by Burninator : 06-22-2006 at 12:25 PM. | |||||
