RSL in Portugal?

Bom dia, os meus amigos, tudo bem?

Well, that's the extent of my Portuguese.

Does anyone know if RSL is going to play any Portuguese clubs while they are in Fat Mountain? (Monte Gordo.)

If so, maybe Loyal1, Arelius or I could check their sites & see what they thought about the team from Lagoa Salgado?

I think that RSL staffer Chad Sackett was a missionary in the Cape Verde Islands.

Maybe he could go with the team, take a laptop & send us back reports?

Até logo e obrigado.

I asked about this, and I didn't get a response yet. All I know is that James Edward is not scheduled to go to Portugal.
I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Also, if we can figure out where they will be training, we might be able to get some local Portuguese soccer fans to go check it out for us via BS.
Any thoughts?

Oi Jose Luis:

Arelius, if you think my Portuguese is good; I want some of what you've been smoking or drinking.

I used to work with Brazilians, so I learned a little "Portunol". Maybe Loyal1 learned a little "Portunol" when he was in Argentina?

Going to Portugal was a great move for RSL. I was there for a grand total of 2 days (side trip from Spain) and it was beautiful and the people were very nice.

But I wonder if they are still going to be as nice after what happened in Korea in 2002?

If any of the Portuguese clubs have players from A Seleção that lost to the US; I bet they'd love to take out their frustrations on RSL's Americans.

Any Portuguese-speaking members of the the Loyalists want to take on a mission?
I have info that RSL will be training at Monte Gordo in Portugal, where the lower division Farense SAD and Louletando teams are located. We need find a soccer nut (maybe BS poster) that lives out there to scout RSL matches.

Any ideas?

And say thank you!
PS If you speak portuguese, that will help. We will need help translating newspaper articles.

I’m sure JuveleoRules will give us the report of the articles in English. Otherwise, I can translate.
