I think I also made some new friends on Kansas City. My first new best friend is Jose Burciaga, Jr., who just barely missed with a left hook to my face while at the same time attempting to break my leg, I mean, win the ball. My second best friend who I will be exchanging Christmas cards with is goalkeeper Bo Oshanyi. That elbow to the eye when I wasn't looking was very thoughtful of you, Bo.
LMAO!! Good stuff.

They spelled my name wrong but at least they got most of it right.
There are two photos. the one in Jamies Journal and one of DJ and Colby Christenson.

My favorite quote from this one!

Next [Goal] will be better, and hopefully will come this weekend. I promise we are going to score on the North Goal at some point this year too for all you die-hard fans sitting behind that goal.

No thanks! I do NOT squeel!

However, that was a great Journal. I agree with HibaIssa. This is my favorite quote:

Jamie does seem to be a bit of a magnet for that type of behavior. I wonder if it might have something to do with his talking smack to the opposing players all the time. Just a thought... :fish: (the famous "Smackerel") :whistling

I don't normally care much for the gamesmanship in sports but I admit I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Jamie wind up Ruiz in the second half on Saturday.

That was one of two classic TV shots from the FCD game. The other was of Dunseth. As he jogs off the field at the end of the first half, he has a smirk on his face (as he looks over at the FCD bench?)--and then he winks. I'm not sure at whom, but my son and I just about fell out of our chairs it was so funny.

You see things on the TV that you don't when you're there in person, and vice versa. That's why I'd really love to be able to rewatch the games on TV. But mostly it's a lost cause, as I don't have a way to do it.

You remember a couple weeks ago when we were commenting on Clint putting his has over Jamies mouth? That's how I think of him now. A little Cleetus in training. Or maybe an Elf with Attitude. And I think some of that attitude comes out in his Journal, too. Anyway, it's funny, and fun to read.

Thank you, Jamie!

I love that Watson is passionate and shows Mathis-like tendenancies.
However, I still wish Jamie would have not wasted that time at the end of the KC match. Laser Luke was ready to give a good corner but barely had any time...
But I digress. I am glad Jamie is a RSLer!

Yeah, that bugged me too! I thought that we could have had maybe two more chances to tie it up, but he kept jawin' away. At first I thought it was some sort of tactic - but it turned out not to be.

<gentle sarcasm>Helloooo, this is the "I <heart> Jamie" thread, not the "I <heart> Jamie but want to subtly criticize him" thread!</gentle sarcasm> :P Just teasin' of course... feel free to post whatever you like. I'm not saying I never notice imperfections from my favorite players, but I think, "Would I really say that out loud (or post it) if the person I'm criticizing was listening (or reading)?" If the answer is no, I shut up and keep it to myself.

(Hi Jamie! We love you!! Come back from Texas soon!)
