Houston vs. RSL [R] 6/17/06

RSL could fall to the Western Division basement by the end of the weekend if things do not work out their way.

If Real Salt Lake falls to Houston on Saturday, and the Galaxy can get by the Red Bulls, Real will move into a last-place tie with Los Angeles.

and if the entire team gets food poisoning the night before the game and they can only field 4 players, the equipment manager and bus dirver then they will forfeit...

if this then happens twenty more times then the team will go bankrupt and be sold North Dakota for 150 dollars Canadian and then they will have to play in the PDL...

If we're lucky, an 8.5 earthquake will hit the Wasatch Front destroying everything in the area that way, at least we won't have to play our way into last place. Maybe people will feel sorry for the team and give RSL a bye into the playoffs.

But the Galaxy has played two more matches than RSL, so I would say an RSL team with 11 points in 12 matches is in a better position than a Galaxy team with 11 points in 14 matches.
