So, go Ghana? Nothing against Ghana, but I'm not seeing a lot to cheer for.
Low life expectancy (57 - bad) Low per capita income (£1,186 - terrible) Military spending (.7% of national income - good I guess) No aid to foreign nations Carbon emmissions (.4 tonnes per person - good) Income inequality (40.8 (0=perfect equality, 100=one person owns everything) - bad) Health spending (2.3% of national income - poor) Perception of corruption (3.5 (10=low, 0=high) - bad) Compare it to the US and it looks like the US is hit hard because of high military spending, and high carbon emmisions. In addition, we appear to be negatively effected by the number of " Companies among world's largest 500 multinational's (220) The US, however, has better life expectancy, higher income per person, higher aid spending, SAME income inequality rating, much higher health spending, and a better perception of corruption (7.6 = low). __________________ "Seriously, you are the best fans in the league." - Fernando Clavijo, cRapids coach. Good find Arelius!
It's easy to get a "good" carbon emission rating when your country is so poor that you can't afford to do the things to create them. I'm not sure why I'd use that as something to cheer about. __________________
