It saved me today. I was able to watch the Brazil v Croatia game with no problems after the first 3 mins of "crappy" video. A lot of it depends on your bandwidth I'm sure.

Yes this is very true... sound goes in and out and I get momentary pauses if I am on the wireless here. But, on the hard wired, highspeed connection I am golden (minus sound so I don't distract others).

yea, i dont get sound when I get the cone picture, is that how it is? that is why I wasnt sure if it was working or not. I guess I should try PPLive or PPStream (i love that name!) but sometimes its hard to find the right station when its in chinese. (im learning Japanese, but chinese has too many Kanjii style characters and it confuses (confucious?) me

Me neither. At first I thought it was a MS update, but it's happening on a few PCs which haven't been updated.
I wish it was back though.. I'm going through withdrawls already.

I tried 7-8 different things that in theory should have let me watch this online. However, if appears that sometime in the last 24 hours someone (FIFA?) cracked down on all these free sites and knocked them off line. You can still pay to see them online, but I am way to cheap... at least I will home for the team USA match tomorrow.

So I guess FIFA isn't as omnipotent as we feared...
