Pope and Seqeuira: Shocked?

Does anyone else here think that when Eddie and Douglas hear these results we're getting it would be a little shocking to them? We haven't lost since they left, and we've only tied once.

That would freak me out, but in a good way.

I wouldn't be too scared if I were Pope (that sentence could work in so many other contexts). If Pope had started instead of Akwari, Herron wouldn't have had the SOG Garlick stopped, and it's possible the other goal wouldn't have been scored either (pretty sure it was Akwari that passed the ball to Plotkin).

I think we will be stronger in defense once those two return from WC duty. Although Douglas will have to remember he isn't playing forward. If him and Talley can work well and cover for each other this can be a very potent counter attack squad.

A-FREAKING-MEN! I think them being gone has been a good thing, because other players have had to step up in there place, instead of standing back and relying on them to do everything. i think we just needed to get over the hump and we'll end up having a great season now that we are over it.

Don't worry. When Douglas returns Ellinger will push Talley back to CB and Torres back out left. Then things will return to how they were before. 🙂

I always have been. That's the same type of smart butt comment I would've made last year had RSL been winning. :nana:
