You Arsenal fans are pathetic. If it weren't for the "horrible" reffing, Arse would have ended up with ZERO goals instead of one. After all, it was poor reffing that allowed Eboue's dive to set up the Henry-Campbell set piece goal.A better ref, and the match could have ended 3-0.

P.S. I heard Henry actually rode home in the Barca bus after the game. Ha!

I didn't read all the arguing, sorry, but here's my take:

1. I am a completely unbiased observer, I respect both teams for being good but I am not a fan of either team.

B. Should have been a Barcelona goal and no red card.

4. The Arsenal goal came because of a blatant dive. I hate diving.

F. Does Barca score those other two goals if Arsenal has all 11 men? Good question.. but until then it should have been 1-0 for Barca.

Some poor officiating and some stupid diving but I think overall the outcome was fair.

Stars, you're such an *******. Now I remember why I hate you.
Don't let the vultures get you in Nevada or St George or wherever the hell you are now. Bottom line is that that match should have gone completely different and Refs should never decide the outcome of the game. It should have been 1-0 for Barfa but that red card was just a pathetic way for the UEFA Championship to go. You and I both know that. So why don't you go celebrate your Barfa victory with your boyfriend and let me be pissed. You dick.

BTW for anyone reading this that doesn't get how Stars and I speak to eachother, this is just how it goes. Everything is fine and you don't need to remove me from the board., This means you admin geek.

I dunno it's just the way I am.

Wow, guys. That was an obvious red card, in my opinion. Doesn't matter that it was a CL final, or that it was early in the game, or whatever. I must be watching the wrong leagues, because more often than not I see keepers tossed for stunts like that.

(No allegiance to either team -- just wanted to see a good game. If anything, I'm a Thierry Henry fan, and he should be kicking himself for missed opportunities)

True. The match would have been much more enjoyable if it were allowed to play out on advantage. And the result may have been radically different.

I have a theory that whoever scores the second goal wins the match. I don't know how often it is true, but it seems that way to me. If you're up 1 and go up 2, it is hard to catch you. If you're down 1 and level the score, you've got all the momentum. I'd like to see some actual stats on this theory... someday.

...and we wouldn't have it any other way. If anyone thinks The Rogue One and I are abrasive when we disagree, you should hear us when turn our collective blood spitting on, say, JasonMa.

I thought it was a red card too, if he blows the whistle. But I think he should have played the advantage and let Barca have the goal, that's all. I guess it's still possible to card him after playing an advantage call though... it could have been 1-0 Barca AND Arsenal playing with 10!

All I can say is yipppy! The MLS isn't the only league that gets pitiful officiating. It would have been real sad had Barca lost because there first goal was called off. It would have been sadder yet had Arsenal won because of a dive to beat all dives. In general, it seemed inconsistant all around.

BTW, no real favorite in the game, but I was pulling for Barca once they got double dumped on in the 1st half. Arsenal fans have less to complain about.

Also, while officiating reminded me of MLS, the skill level on those guys was increadible and the broad cast crew was miles better than anything the American soccer fans are treated to.

It looks like even the ref agrees with me and it was a bad call sending Lehmann off.

"But Hauge is adamant that his decision to send off Lehmann wasn't entirely wrong either."
