Mike Sherman Sherman's last season with the Pack they went 4 and 12. Before that they had 2 10 and 6 (2 playoff loses and one win) seasons and 2 12 and four seasons (2 playoff loses and one win), and in 2000 the Pack went 9 and 7. No ties under Sherman.
In their last 38 games they went 18 and 20. Green Bay sent Sherman packing after that. Last edited by Old Ska : 05-10-2006 at 03:56 PM. | |||||

I think it's a bit different in that he's been there a few years. Some in the profession like Gordon Strachan have openly speculated over how long a coach can be at a team. GS said 3 years. In the case of the Packers they were in argueably the worst conference in the league. I'm not sure management expected them to win it but I do think they were hoping for a better showing for the team. I thought at one point they were 1-7 or something like that. Maybe my hate for the Packers is clouding my memory though. 🙂
